Games without Frontiers & Shock the Monkey by Peter Gabriel, which then makes me think of Monkey to Man by Elvis Costello, which then makes me think of In the Ghetto by Elvis Presley.
There are so many many thought provoking songs--that's the point of music, isn't it?
And don't you wonder why Tom Petty's "The Last DJ" never gets any air play? I think it was unofficially blacklisted. Thanks, (sarcastic) Clear Channel et al. And BOO to the Dj's who bowed to them by refusing to play it. And I thought Russia was an ocean away..........

Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil it asks how we can go on living each day when there are so many problems in the world we seem to ignore, hence the line "how do we sleep while our beds are burning" especially since the problems in the world are being caused by ourselves.
