I feel there was nothing wrong with the Team selectedfor the world cup and the team was capable of beating any team in the world cup on their day. However, in the first match against Bangladesh, India did not take Bangladesh too seriously and were over confident. They paid the price for that having lost that match. This loss created a pressure situation for India to win the match against Sri Lanka to qualify for the Super 8.
Though India were well placed about 60 percent of the time in the match against Sri Lanka, they lacked the dedication, determination and killer instinct and lost the match to Sri Lanka also.

Let us see things like this
BCCI and PCC had problem with ICC over the money sharing issues of the world cup coz from India and Pakistan 80% revenue comes to the world body. So they (BCCI & PCC) decided to how the world body will get money that is the main cause why Pak lost to Ireland and India Lost to Bangladesh.
So the Coaches Woolmer wanted to say this to the world and died
Chappel Shut his mouth and now in NCA Bangalore
If not can You Imagine any country losing to the small countries in such a way.

a) Indian cricketers are not professional when it comes to playing the game. They are professional with regard to taking the money that comes with it.
b) They don't play to win. Their approach betrays a lack of match strategy.
c) There are too many devils in the players' minds. They often lose a match in the mind by not giving adequate time to thinking out a proper strategy to counter/overcome their weaknesses/failings.

Over confidence killed us against bangladesh. Against SL we lost because we were under too much pressure to perform.
Lets face it, and accept we have a problem.
Lets stop doing advertisements, and for a change lets concentrate and play for the honour of our Country.
Where is the killer instinct????
Why can't we play like australians?
whatz lacking in us????
The ans is will to perform for our Country.
Come on perform and show everyone, that we will not go down anymore.

hey c'mon you people it was just one match that India lost to bangladesh c'mon for one match this is tooo much everyone's talking about reducing advertisements nd BCCI is reducing their pay c'mon its because of the indian cricketers that the BCCI is the richest cricketing board in the world BCCI doesn't get sponsors for themselves they get sponsors because the cricketers play on the field and perform and advertisements doesn't matter after all if you remember Sehwag scored his 309 aginst Pakistan when he was signed by 4 advertisement companies and on top of that his marriage preparations were going on
and as for the world cup its just one there are hell lots to come do not lve in the past live in present and prepare for future............................

lack of analysis n then over confidence... Indian players show good in home ground, but in other countries their performances go bad.. their is no proper analysis of the team., their performance, no uity, no understanding.. rise or fall but together- this is not seen in the team.. any team player's performance has to be analyzed.. also the over all team performnace has to be analyzed under different places, situations, under pressure, different techniques... the palyers need to be cool under pressure.. they need concentration n confidence under any situation.. this lacks in our team.. they need yoga n meditation mainly... coach il do his job properly.. players hav to take up comments n correct accordingly..

i think the team has lost confidence.. one game they are overconfident and another no confidence at all.. i think that greg chapel was a horrible coach.. he didn't want india to win anyways coz he's australian and it was a wrong decision for them to make dravid captain... hes a great player but not such a good captain!
