It sounds as though your lizard isn't being kept at the proper temperature, has an internal infection, is being offered the wrong foods, has an impaction, is dehydrated, or needs a UVB light. Since you don't say what kind of lizard this is, there's no way of giving you advice about what you can try and do. If you know the species, look up some care information to make sure it's getting the proper light, heat, food, and humidity/water. If all these seem in order, it may be time for a visit to a vet that specializes in reptile care. You can find some info about different lizards on the website below. They also have a vet listing by state.

i dont know much about lizards...i own a turtle and it wont eat for days only because it is gettin use to its surroundings....but get a heat lamp and other accessories in the cage...make him feel like he or she is a prince or princess......well good luck..if this doesnt work then take it to the vet....

well lizards need plenty of water and some require a uv light to live because their bodies absorbe the rays and convert into needed vitamins...like humans and vitamin D....but I would suggest taking him to the vet...you will feel better when you do..
