the Dallas Cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins 24-3 in the 72 Superbowl. Most people refer to the 72 dolphins as undefeated, but actually it's like this. the 71-72 Dolphins lost in the Superbowl to the Cowboys. the 72-73 Dolphins is the team that went undefeated and won the superbowl in 73. they were coached by Don Shula, and beat the Washington Redskins 14-7 in superbowl 7. If you mean the year 1972 then it was the Dallas Cowboys over the Miami Dolphins 24-3 If you mean the 1972 season then that was Miami's perfect season and they defeated Washington 14-7
