"Confoederatio Helvetica" ("Helvetic Confederation") is the official Latin name of Switzerland. Do a search on eBay for similar coins.

What is it, how rare is it,whats it made of ,does it have any major historic significance? thats what determines the value of a coin rather than age, common ancient coins are parctically worthless, made from a common metal and around in massive abundence they simply dont have much value. Some coins from the middle ages are priceless, some arent worth much at all , A common copper coin in average condition isnt worth much, a scarce gold dubloon or something might be worth a fortune, So youd need to provide more insight into what it is for anyone to guess at value...However you can research it thru numistmatic guides in you local library or even compare it to what other coins like it are selling for on auction sites like ebay.If you look under clubs/organizations in your area there may be a numistmatic associtation or groups that you could contact also.

You didn't mention the denomination of the coin, so I couldn't help with the value. But one thing for sure, is that the coin is from Switzerland. You can try this website for values once you've identified the coin that you have(values in Swiss Francs) :
