On A 93 chevy pick up with tilt wheel no air bag
how hard is it to c hange mine is locked in the on position / ignition switch

This will show you step by step. Follow it all the way to the end if your tilt is loose. Get it all while you're in there.

Spray the heck out of it with WD-40 and then liquid graphite....if it's gummed up and locked from years of dirt and grit on your keys, it may just free up. Could also be the ignition switch down on the column is binding up...would check that first before tearing open the column.

hello there, not hard but you will need a strg wheel puller and a spring ring compressor to remove the upper spring and ring so you can remove the turn signal switch cause there is a bolt inbehind them that holds the cylinder in place. if you don't have the tools its hard. it maybe worth your time and money to take it in to a garage, it shouldn't be much more than 1 hr charge. glen-gm tech.

not hard. pull the steering wheel off(need steering wheel puller) and multi-function swith and there is probably one bolt holding it in. make sure you have torx bits
