They nab it right out of the air. Dragonflies are amazing hunters and they eat other insects.

I don't think that they migrate. They develop as nymphs under water and then emerge in the dragonfly form. I found one just as it was emerging one time and watched its wings as they unfolded and dried.

dragonflies eat small insects such as mosquitos. they usually remain in the same area most of their lives.

they hovver aroun ponds above the water and go for any insects smaller than they are ,butterflies,mosquitos ,flies,grasshoopers etc

they dont migrate
