He has my vote 100%! My ideal ticket to vote for would be Obama/Biden or something like that. Obama's somewhat shortcomings in experience should be tempered with someone with tenure.
His ability to lead (and Americans' apparent willingness to follow) combined with his successful history of bi-partisan cooperation and excellent diplomatic skill is exactly what this country needs right now.
Despite other answers, Obama has solid plans on issues, and is currently collaborating on a variety of issues. His long-standing position on making policy statements is that you need to have the support behind your statements before you present them, otherwise you will never be able to achieve your goal. Personally, I think this is an excellent way of approaching politics and can only serve to strengthen our democracy.
I love my country, and I recognize that we are in a rather frustrating and close-minded period. Strengthening our country from within, and reaching out for alliances around the world is essential to US security, both militarily and monetarily.

I trust his motives and morality, expect he would surround himself with good people who really care about the country and people. If he doesn't have all answers, would work with the experts in the field.
He is inspiring and great orator, reminds me of true statemanship. If we have gotten past the racsim, would say he has a real chance.
Believe he will try to pull things together.
Guy above, if bush can sit in the chair with all his managerial failures and lack of leadership, what are you complaining about? If he wasn't baby bush and didn't have the machinery, he never would have gotten past gov of TX.

Yes I do. He is an extremely smart man with good ideas about getting this country back on track and functional again after the Bush/Cheney fiasco. I would vote for either him or Hillary Clinton. Both would do well.

yes, i like the guy a lot and his message of edning partisan politics is great. he practices what he preaches. He has worked with Repub. Lugar on nuclear weapons proliferation and Repub. Mccain on Immigration reform. he is the most inspiring politician I have seen in my lifetime.

i love how opponents point to his "lack of experience"...they obviously knew little about the fuhrer they "voted" into the white house in 2000. they just voted for a name. once again, thanks to daddy!
oh, and i really like obama as well. hope he makes it on the ticket...
