Okay, this is quickly becoming the most depressing thread I've ever read. I feel for you all. I am truly sorry to those who have lost a loved one(s). Group hug! LOL. Laugh, it's a great cure for sadness.

I don't cry "a lot", but I do cry when I think of my Dad. He's been dead for 24 years, but I still miss him and cry when I think about him.
I also cry when I see news stories on abused children and animals.
I cry when I hear of a good person dying, even if I don't know that person.
Sometimes, I cry for no apparent reason at all.
Gee, I guess I do cry "a lot"... lol
... and thanks for the group hug!

when im just frustrated with everything around me and I don't feel theres a way out I cry. It helps relieve me. My teacher told me in elementary school that I shouldn't cry so much....I don't think she should have done that because from then on I held alot in....And I've always felt stressed...I'm 25 now If I feel the need to cry I'm gonna do it ..whether anyone thinks of me different I could care less.

When i see something sad or extremley beautiful. The world is a beautiful place yet so many people are destroying it. That makes me sad so i'll occasionally cry. I cry when i lose someone....or if i have really bad nightmares. I don't cry alot though. Good Question. God Bless.

Generally, I have a fairly good grip on my emotions. That doesn't mean that I don't cry when I'm sad, of course, but I don't find myself crying alot. But frustration...that gets me EVERY TIME! I don't seem to know how to cope with frustration. If I'm attempting something, in vain, it seems that it finally brings me to tears!

When do I cry? You know, there are lots of reasons why I cry. I cry when somone or something special to me dies or gets hurt REALLY bad, when my feelings are hurt, and when I think of dead loved ones. Everyone cries for their own reasons. Some people cry for no reason. Why are you asking this, anyway?

I cry on movies! Almost every movie I watch that has some sort of sentimental value makes me cry. I even cry at the end of Alice on Wonderland every time I watch it :D

Usually I do not cry out loud, but I tear up, usually when I hear or see something that is emotionally stirring (examples: heroic dogs saving people; the ending the movie "Big Fish").

honestly, i dont cry often. i cried alot when my good friend died about 3 months ago, and i cry or feel like crying when i see my mom cry. because she is the strongest woman i know, and to see her cry upsets me.
alot of times when it seems natural to cry though, i dont...like when i watch movies that are very sad all my friends cry, but i dont, and i have NEVER cried over boyfriends... it's so wierd....and alot of times i cry when nothing specific happens, just thinking of the past too.

When my infant son bumps his head and cries....he's just learning to stand and cruise on his own, and the poor fella falls all the time - I can't bear to see him hurting!
I also cry at sappy TV commercials, and sometimes when I'm reading a good book....
