I have a BT line and use tiscali broadband with ASDL speedtouch modem. When I receive an incoming or make an outgoing call on my telephone my internet becomes disconnected and I usually have to restart the computer to get it to work again.

Can you give me any advice please?

Why do you need to restart the computer, can you not resync/reboot the modem?

Try the quiet line test on your phone line. Dial 17070 select option 2 if you can hear any noise on the line ie. crackling pops etc. then there is a fault on the line and you need to dial 151 and report this.

Report this fault to your isp and get them to check your connection. If they can find the fault they will get BT Openreach to fix it.

Sounds like you need to put microfilters between ALL your phones and the wall sockets. Buy some at http://www.orangeaccessories.co.uk/micro_filter.html

Does your phone line require a filter? You may need to put one on every phone line.
