Depends on what the stain is...
Whatever it is - treat it with a stain stick ASAP (I use Shout, but Clorox bleach pens work equally well) - the sooner the better. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then wash it. If you can't get to a stain stick immidiately, then dab it with water till you see the lines start to blur. then treat it when you get home.
Good Luck!

Aerosol hairspray does wonders. Spray it on the stained spot and blot it up with a paper towel (be careful not to smudge it in). Wash with cold water and repeat until the stain has faded. If the ink has been on the jacket for more than a few hours, it's best to take it to the dry cleaners. Point out the spot to them and tell them what kind of stain it is, so they can use the proper treatment.

put ink on the rest of it to make a cute black jacket because ink is very hard to get rid of plus i saw this solution in a movie once and the person who the jacket belonged to now loved the color...
stupid i know but it can be a good idea too, a chance to show ur creative side.

Hairspray, and lots of it.
Spray the stain with an inexpensive aerosol hairspray. Blot it with a clean, damp towel. Keep repeating until the stain is gone. It might spread a little at first, but don't panic, it will come out!
