If there was an accident, who would you save first? Your pet or a human you don't know?

My first instinct would be my pet but I hope my mind would see the value of a human life. I love my pets and would do almost anything for them but a human life or pet...???
I would hope to be able to save the human and pet both.

Definately a person that I don't know. This person's death will mean so much more to so many more people than my pet's death will. My pet's death will only affect me and maybe the members of my family, but a person will affect at least 100 or more people. I would also be able to forgive myself for my pet's death as long as I saved someone's life in the process. If I left that person for dead though and saved my pet's life I don't know if I could forgive myself. I made a mother's, father's, sibling's, aunt's, uncle's, and friend's life miserable just so I can be selfish and save my dog or horse. To me it's not worth it.

I love my pets with all my heart but I would choose the human. Pets will sacerfice themself for humans and if I did have to choose I know they'll understand. Human's are to be put first that's way in an emergancy they are left behind. Thy to come up with an excuse why you saved your pet but left the human to die. Not many people will love you!

my pet. you dont know that person and you have a deep love for your pet. unless you want your pet to die then save the human.

human, because we have so much more to live for like family and future and also think about explaining to the family why you saved your pet and not their relative.

My pet because I have a close relationship with my dog. Plus a dog should be treated good too.

Assuming that the person can walk on their own, they can get out themselves. I'd save the animals, because they need guidance in stressful situations.
