Most people worry that the starter quarterback Donovan McNabb is easily to get the injury this season. Eagles team try to found his backup for him to replace him. They did picked Kevin Kolb from Houston to be backup to McNabb.

In today's NFL, it is not a bad idea to have a talented back up quarterback, especially when you consider the fact that when most teams lose their QB that most of the time there season is over. The Eagles were smart for what they did, look what having a solid backup did for them last year with Jeff Garcia, he saved their season, plus they will be developing a QB for when McNabb gets old, or if Kolb shows talent they could also trade him the way the Falcons traded Schaub.

My prediction is this...if McNabb gets hurt again this year then i see him getting traded and then the eagles will bring in a vetran to use as competition for Kolb, but if McNabb doesnt get hurt this year and the eagles do good then we will have to wait a few years to see Kolb.

He'll probably become the Eagles QB this season. McNabb is a bust, and will never win a Superbowl. Eagles need to move on with a consistent QB that has a chance to win and not get injured every season.

i doubt it i think the eagles just got him if mcnabb struggles this year with his knee. If Mcnabb's fine, he'll play and Kolb will be his backup.

After McNabb gets hurt again this year, your boy will be in there. Probably around week 8 or 9.

Hopefully he will so they can return to mediocrity--their true birthright.
And BTW--I'm an Eagles hater, always have been and always will be, but even I can see that McNabb is not a bust. Use your brain! Maybe he hasn't won the big one but he has been to it and to the NFC championship several times.

hes a rookie and has alot to learn........
