Email it to yourself as an attachment. Then, open it on the other machine.

OR, get a USB Flash drive.

If you are going to do this once then:
Copy the photo off the laptop onto a memory key.
Copy the photo off the memory key onto the desktop.


If you are going to be doing this a lot. And assuming that they are both on the same network with the same workgroup name. Then:

On the desktop share the drive or folder that you want the pictures to go into. (bring up the properties for the drive/folder, click on the Sharing tab, click on the Share this folder and give it a name.)

On the laptop, open up your Network Places, click on View Workgroup Computers, find your desktop, double click and the shared folder should be there for you to drag and drop files into.

Either just email it to yourself through Yahoo, then open it on the desktop (wired) computer.

Or, do a Google search on how to enable file and printer sharing in Windows.
