Forum bashing and name calling?

Question

Ok I have a question ok this is to the ones who go on forums AKA message boards.

Why do members support forums that let members sexually harass and insult and name call? I mean some of the monitors even jump in on it and when you tell the owner (admin) he/she does nothing ban you or blame you for it (when you are just defending yourself) .

As for the sexually harassment that is mostly on hip hop forums were my people (blacks/ black men) sexually harass females (Yes I am a female). As for when I go most on white majority forums it’s mostly just name calling and bashing insults.

I mean I know it’s just a forum but come on, its bad enough we get it in real life but to come on a forum were the forum is for community.

So I am asking why you would support forum like that. What is wrong with people? And why are they the forums with the most active members. But when you get forums that does not let there members bash and insult and humiliate each other they do not want to support forum like that.

It's pretty stupid to insult someone in a forum, and it makes no sense to me why they'd waste their time doing that anyways, especially if they're going to try to support it.

Maybe it's the fact that they might be being reported for saying innocent things that seem to imply sexuality, hate, or violence, but really isn't. It happens here on Yahoo! Answers.

I post at a forum where we (yes, I am included) bash a fellow member every single day. But he brings it on himself. Forum bashing is VERY common, it's kinda like a game, you have to outwit the others. If you area bashed for no apparent reason then hit back, but be diplomat when you do it so you "sound" like a mature person. There is nothing that pisses a basher off more than being outsmarted in a smart and civil way.
As for sexual harrassment coming from African American males... I can't comment on that, I think it's part of their culture. I mean no offense.

Are you talking about the Suggestion Boards? Now you can E-mail Yahoo & they will wipe out the main post & ALL the other posts on that question whether they are offensive or not. Just call all this in "whatever" Forums the"trouble with Trolls"

I wouldn't stick around to support a forum, if it is like that all the time, and no one does anything about it, I would look for somewhere else to go....
