Geez. Bush does not set the price. Oil cartels abroad and supply and demand domestically set the price. And, the one thing we definitely do NOT need is more Dems giving away our hard earned money. Get a job and work for your money!

R u Kidding It is not as if Pres. Bush sits their and says today I will make gas 3.25 across the nation. Many factors play into how a gas price is set the cost of refinement, Global availability, how much is in demand for who is willing to pay the highest price, oil spills, successful drilling, and more

Here is a ? to think about if the Pres has so much to do w/ gas prices why did they reach record highs when your honorable Clinton was in office.

I hate to break this to you, but the price of gas isn't set by the President. Price controls don't generally work. If, for instance, Bush signed some sort of emergency executive order making it a crime to see gasoline for more than $0.99 a gallon, what you would see is long lines for gas, and stations closing. You wouldn't be able to get gas at all - unless you bought it on the black market, probably for something more like $10 a gallon.

Not while George Chevron Bush is President.
As I recall oil was $22 a barrel and heading down when we invaded Iraq. Knocking Iraq off the world market gave him the ability to jack up prices. Exxon and Chevron have gotten rich.

i think of area of the undertaking is the deflated dollar in terms of the the remainder of the worlds courrency. it is something that Bush could have a hand it, yet can no longer completely restoration. we are heading to the 'r' be conscious-and that i did no longer desire to declare that-as maximum economies cycle by way of. The severe gas expenditures are through furnish and demand. The OPEC countries are not going to furnish from now on than they are b/c they do no longer ought to. call for has long previous up b/c of China's and India's better use. Bush ought to probably attempt to push for drilling in ANWAR or different US owned areas the place there is oil, yet congress won't enable that pass. the factor he could have executed to wreck us in that's the war. the certainty that we are spending relatively some money there and taking in much less money by way of taxes hurts our financial gadget and the money fee. yet, Bush is the super evil guy or woman who's in charge for each little thing from a woman getting her boob grabbed in a convenience save to hurricane Katrina to the wild fires in Cali final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days- in case you hear to libs and Bushbashers.
