Lighten your load - lower your stressors - learn to say "no".
Take time alone, and time with others in balance.
Write daily in a journal.
Read something inspirational each day.
Take a walk in the fresh air
Leave your watch / cell phone / and others at home
Turn off the TV and computer
Daily see that you eat real food, sleep, and walk
Get together with a friend often.
Learn to not be in a rush
Go to church - purpose to remember one thing when you go home.
Laugh or smile - even if it's just by standing for a 1/2 hr in the card isle or by watching I Love Lucy re-runs
Hugs help
Get a massage
Talk and work with a counselor.

I have experienced anxiety from work related stress and have found that St.johns wort works the best. I work nights so the stress was keeping me from sleeping and on weekends I would be up half the night. St.Johns Wort helped me feel relax to sleep better and deal with daily stessors.
I have read that hops is another herb that works well with anxiety and depression.
Do research online because some herbal treatments are not recommended to take with anti-depressants. SJW has been studied and I believe is one you can take with anti's.

I've had remarkable results with adaptogens in a product called Primorye. This is for stress. I'm giving a link to read about it below. It's a long read but could be well worth it. If you want more info check my profile and find a link to a website to contact me or just learn more.
Good luck and I hope you find good answers to help. Stress is not a healthy thing and we all need to find ways to find balance.

Shrink...doc..counselor....medication - to start then you may want to get into some kind of occupational therapy or something distracting and calming like painting.
You might want to look into talking with a life coach but I would see a counselor first for a screening.

Sound Therapy is fantastic for this. It was developed by a French specialist, and the therapy directly stimulates the brain via use of high frequency sounds that we don't generally hear every day.
There is information about how Sound Therapy can help at http://www.soundtherapyperth.com/benefits/stress.php and http://www.soundtherapyperth.com/benefits/depression.php
