In reference to the first answer - why would Gibson hit a homer in Tiger Stadium when the 1988 World Series was between the Dodgers and A's? Check your facts.

As for Gibson's shot, I'd guess that it was about 340-350 feet. It went over the right-field wall at Dodger Stadium, which is 330 feet. It didn't go far into the night, but it certainly didn't limp over the wall, either.
