My childhood was fine, it was the actual town that makes me feel squicky when I think back on it.

Some things were good, some were bad. I can't really remember a lot. I do remember my grand parents lived on a small farm. I remember drawing water from a well, to fill a bath tub on the back porch. And going to the bathroom in an outhouse. Once, me and my cousin were drawing water from the well. We had to work together because that bucket seemed to weigh a ton. We weren't tall enough to really reach the handle when it was upright.The crank handle slipped out of my hand and spun around knocking him on the back of the head, before spinning like crazy as the bucket fell back to the bottom.

fond memories... fond, fond memories of my childhood! I wish I could travel back in time... for a year or two... so I could actually appreciate my amazing childhood.

Very fond ! So much so, 5yrs ago I moved back to the tiny city of 10,000 were stores close at 6pm. Nothing like Los Angeles to be sure

I still live here. My childhood memories are not so great. However, I decided a long time ago to put them behind me and make new memories, especially for my kids. It worked too!

they are pretty good memories except for the one where some drunk guy driving by threw beer bottles at me and my cousin... oh and the time the guy down the street got stabbed... oh and the time a neighbor kid got hit by a car... but other than those and a few more... pretty good...
