Because the Declaration of Independence does quote that all men are created equal, therefore she is no different from anyone else.
In her case, it will do her a world of good, because as a role model she sucks, with all the money in the world and access to education, connections and the chance to live a full and productive life, she chose to waste it away on a frivolous lifestyle she is really too old for.

Paris Hilton IMHO is a spoiled brat and should be treated as any other citizen. Including jail. She might even learn something.

Yes, driving under the influence? Anyone else would have been arrested and put in jail on the spot. Nobody deserves special treatment

Yes, she broke the law and should pay like everybody else. It shouldn't matter if she is rich or famous, other people go to jail over trivial stuff, so she isn't an exception. Besides, this wasn't her first offense.

Yes she deserves to go to jail she broke the law as simple as that. She thinks she is being treated unfairly which is not true. you get what you deserve. No one sadly is above the law.

She broke the law, she is not above the law even though she is rich, and it could have been avoided, but she was stupid about what she needed to do to get a B& B licinse so yes she should go to jall for her own stupididy, maybe it will teach her not to drink and drive.

Yes!! The law is the law, and no matter who you are or how much money you have shouldn't make a difference. It doesn't excuse you from following the law. She has tried to blame her publicist for telling her that it was okay for her to drive. She knew that her license was suspended for a DUI, so that is no excuse!! If someone told her it was okay to jump off a bridge, would she just do it?!

Yes. She broke the law by DWI and lost her license. Then she drove even though her license was suspended and expects everyone to believe that she "didn't realize" the license was suspended. So yes, she should do some time in jail.
