I let her out of her cage while I am at home, but while I'm at school she bites on the bars of her cage and just sits there. What can I give her to play with ? (besides another rabbit, my dad would not like that)

I dont like the suggestion to leave the bunny out of its cage while you're gone. It could do damage, or even get hurt.

I don't have a toy suggestion, I've never seen any that were suitable for bunnies.

Bunnies like to chew. Among the things i've given ours are the wood chew sticks petstores have, the milkbone kind of dog treats, apple waffers( a horse treat sold in farm supply stores).
You called your bunny "she" so i'm assuming it's a doe. Does sometimes have the desire to build nests or prepare materials even when they aren't pregnant. Giving her hay or paper (no color print on it or lead based inks) that she can chew , rip up, and play with would be helpful. Hay being the prefered material. She'll be busy that way and happy.

Our bunny gets all excited when we give her some fresh hay. She bites it into pieces makes tunnels in it, throws it and has a grand time.

I guess my best suggestion is to leave her out of the cage during the day. Most rabbits adapt naturally to litter boxes, so as long as she has food to keep her from chewing other things around the house, I can't see any reason to keep her in a cage.

I feel your pain, but as far as the bar chewing, I dont think that is a boredom thing, my rabbits loves to chew bars, even when
he is on the loose.

Give him some sheets of newspaper in the cage, mine seems to love just ripping them to pieces.

there are blocks of wood you can get and if you go to your local pet store there would be other toys such as wooden balls. also if you give the rabbit it some fresh green before you leave for school that would help with the boredom. good luck!!!
