Ruby - who owns restaurants in Cincinnati, Louisville and Belterra, Ind. - said Simpson, who was in town for the Derby on Saturday, came in with a group of about 12 Friday night and was seated at a table in the back. A customer came up to Ruby and was "giddy" about seeing Simpson, Ruby said.

"I didn't want that experience in my restaurant," Ruby said, later adding that seeing Simpson get so much attention "makes me sick to my stomach."

He said he went to Simpson's table and said, "I'm not serving you." Ruby said when Simpson didn't respond, he repeated himself and left the room.
Simpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the incident was about race, and he intended to pursue the matter and possibly go after the restaurant's liquor license.

Since Ruby apparently serves black celebrities all the time, I think it is obvious his bias is towards a bastard who got away with murder.

Props to Ruby!!

Not the least bit racial. Look into Ruby's background just a little bit, and "racist" is the last thing that will come to mind. If Simpson were to come into a restaurant that I owned, he would be lucky if, asking him to leave, was the worst thing that happened to him. It's funny how Simpson loves to be around white women, play golf with all the rich white guys, etc, etc,. But when it helps him out - he's wants to be black again. Also, shouldn't he be paying the Goldmans, like the court ordered, instead of dining at fine restaurants ?

One of the first jobs I ever had was working for Jeff at "The Waterfront".... I know for a fact that Jeff doesn't care about race, religion, age, sex, etc. I have never been to his restaurant in Louisville, but I know he sustains a level of class at his five Cincinnati locations (Waterfront, Precinct,Tropicana, Carlo & Jonny, Jeff Ruby Steakhouse)... A level of class that a dirt bag like OJ simply doesn't have!

I also want to point out that this isn't the first time OJ has been asked to leave a restaurant/ bar... It is however the the only time that it was reported that he left quietly. Louisville, on Derby weekend brings in thousands of celebrities with much bigger names than OJ. It also brings in just about every news network from all over the world... That explains why he left quietly....

Also... In your details, you stated that OJ was seated "in the back". I want to point out that at Jeff Ruby's restaurants, every table is the best table in the house.
I have attached a link to Ruby's web page, incase anyone wants to take a look at the "level of class" I was refering to.

Good for Jeff Ruby, he's my hero for today. To bad more people don't have his balls. O.J. is a piece of crap and I can't imagine anyone getting "giddy" over a wife killer, but we all know there are people out there with no brains.

I hope now, we have a smart judge, that throws it out of court if O.J.s attorney pursues going after the restaurants liquor license. Race card is a joke, its about not caring to serve a out and out wife killer.

Three cheers to Ruby!!! I would have done the same thing. Of course he is going to use the "race thing" and sue. probably needs the money. If the owner didn't want to serve O.J. and his party of 12, that should be his right. Damn, O.J. has twelve friends?

Hip-Hip Hooray! Besides, OJ doesn't want to mess with Jeff Ruby. He is backed by the "Mob", and OJ could end up real quick in another state of existence!

Nothing racial about it. O.J.'s a murderer. Would you serve him? Everyone knows that he murdered Nicole. And he got away with it. Then he goes writes a book about it? I mean, let's get real here. If he came into a place where I was working, I wouldn't serve him either. And it would have nothing to do with race. He's been walking around let he's some big shot, and he's not. He's a murderer!!!

The restaurant owner could grab his license and slowly
drive around in his SUV and not pull over for the cops
trying to stop him....(OJ knows how this is done)...That way
the owner won't give up his license until he wants to! It is not about RACE-ING...they drive too slowly and just don't pull over!

Seems like O.J. is playing the race card again and its the same with most blacks when they can't cut it. O.J. killed two white people and got away with it because he was a black ex-football star. I have to blame Nicoles parents also for letting their daughter marry the loser.
