First a link to a junior origami page:
http://tammyyee.com/origami.html
Second, an adult page with the models ranked by difficulty:
http://origami.kvi.nl/models/00level.htm
And thirdly a site with the best selection of models I have come across, can also be sorted by difficulty:
http://dev.origami.com/diagram.cfm

I have learned my origami from a childrens book, when I was a child. There are many for sale, and some are worth their money.

Do read through the basic folding instructions, and print the basics so you have them near you when you start folding.

Here is one more link that seems promising to teach:
http://www.folds.net/tutorial/index.html

And follow links on the pages, concentrating on beginners or children.
I hope you get started, it is a very nice hobby, and you do not need anything more fancy than a sheet of printer paper for your first tries.

start with getting the paper and a book on origami, such as a beginner book. You can find that @ borders or Barnes and NOble. if the book is too hard, try another one!! the possibilties with making origami is endless. Infact my friend proposed to his wife by making her origami flowers. Have fun with origami, and even though it seems hard, just have fun!!! :)

They may have origami books at the library, or a bookstore. Check there, or you could probably get one online. You might be able to find a really nice one at amazon.com, and if you can get a used one, for not too much, in really nice condition, then that would good too! : )
