I would ask her where she fancied eating. Then I would make a reservation for the best seat available. Just choose a comfortable homey restaurant that is warm and senior friendly.
Since I do not know where you are, and I would never even consider a chain restaurant, I cannot recommend any place in particular. I just know she would appreciate fine china and good service, but even more important, reminded of how much she is loved and appreciated by her darling Grandson.
With many older folk these days, just getting out of the house can be a treat.
Speaking of elders, I have a link here to the funkiest group of seniors around. This is worth showing and sharing to every one you know. And if your Gran is like my Mom, (ancient), she will love it.

i think of a jello cake would nicely be made for terribly nearly any party and that's extremely trouble-free and tastes and seems very eye-catching. purchase a white cake combination like Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker. Bake the cake as directed. meanwhile take a brilliant pkg. of jello what ever variety you think of she might like.(i love to try this one with mandarin orange). extremely of the two cups of chilly water and a pair of cups of warm water for the making of the jello go away a 0.5 of a cup for all and sundry out. while the cake comes out of the oven poke holes everywhere in the main suitable of the cake, drizzle the jello liquid over the holes. placed the cake in the refrigerator to chill. while that's actual cool conceal the main suitable with cool whip and beautify with mandarin oranges and products of unpolluted mint. Grandma would be actual inspired. (that's an incredible dessert every time) you additionally can try this with strawberries and strawberry jello or berry and berry jello.

I'd take my grandma anywhere I normally go. Try Elephant Bar, Applebees, or Olive Garden.

Now I am impressed! Enjoy your Grandma! I only have one left and I adore her.
Take her to someplace somewhat quiet so she can concentrate on you and your conversation-- and you, hers.
My Grandma likes a local restaurant that specializes in tea.
I hope you have a great time!

I think that that should be totally up to the man because, naturally, he would be the one paying.
Some good restaurants (at least in my humble opinion) are Olive Garden and Bertucci's (if there is one near you).
Or...if you don't want to spend a lot of money I could cook a 5-star meal for you!
XOXO....I hope you find a good place to take her sir!

That's so sweet, Sand. As for me, even though my grandmothers' souls are with God, you should thake her to a good familiar restaurant, a restaurant of her time, something nostalgical. Maybe is good to an italian restaurant.
Buon appetito :-)

I'd cook for my grandma if she were still here. I used to have her over for dinner all the time.

Aww nice! I like hanging out with my Grandmom. She's very cool.
But to answer your question, any kind of diner is usually good.
What kind of food does she like? You should take her to a place where you know she'll have an enjoyable meal.

It depends greatly on which grandmother. The one if I took her to Red Lobster she would be in heaven the other a small bistro where you eat outside perferably near water.
