I am a commercial actor. So, my recommendation is to take acting classes and get an agent. Since, the only way to be on a commercial audition is from an agent. If you live in Florida, I recommend going to Valencia Community College. Since, all the professors are also directing plays either at Valencia or at the local Orlando’s theaters. There also is the well known voice coach Ginny Kopf.

No part is small, only the actor...
Voiceover work is very specialized and to get into that you really have to throw yourself into that world workshops and all (not to mention the fact that it's saturated with name celebs now). Commercials will depend on your personality, likability and ability to sell a product. If you really think you have what it takes to do this in your spare time, then you will want to find a legitimate agent to represent you. Go to Sag.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions.
Then you can send them your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.
Once you have an agent, they will get you the auditions.

Acting is the proper phrase. Obama has been performing from the starting. One have got to say he does good with following the script that's laid earlier than him. However that may not make him even a mediocre President. Its undeniable to peer that he and his cronies have an schedule and that schedule isn't what's fine for America.

Actors don't determine in which area they will work.
The talent agent will decide.
The agent may decide the actor is better suited for Industrials and print work, spokesperson, and not television or movies.
