Nothing. He was dead. He shot himself in the bunker. The government passed to Grand Admiral Doenitz, who surrendered to the allies.

He shot himself, and Eva Braun his long-time mistress turned wife took cyanide because she wanted to be a "beautiful" corpse. Hitler was afraid that the Allies, expecially the Russians would get a hold of his body and put it in a museum, and so he ordered his body burned.
