I'm sorry you have to experience that at such a young age. But the question would be more correctly stated as "Why is there so much bigotry in this world???" Unfortunately, it is human nature for people to find some way to make themselves feel better than someone else. If it isn't color, it is sexual orientation, it is religion or nationality or where they grew up (south versus north, etc.), etc.

All bigotry is taught. Children don't care about such things unless their parents or other early authority figures teach them to hate.

You can make a difference. Don't let such attitudes affect you. Be a change-maker. Good luck.

If you weren't a different color, they would not like your religion, or hair style , or something. "if you're not exactly like me, you're no good" People are often making fun of others to hide their own insecurities too. Watch out because reverse discrimination is amongst us and it is no longer PC to be white so if you try to talk to your teachers about it they will turn against you. Don't say anything back just stay away from those talking trash like that no matter what color they are. good luck

The people that run America or mostly Jewish. They like to create racial tension among the other races. That is why they always show white girls with black guys on TV. They figure that if they can get the white women to marry blacks, the white man will disappear off of the planet and then Jews can run the world.

You can’t always associate school talk with racism but there will always be bigotry and hatred. If you’re hearing it in school then it’s most likely ignorance passed down from their parents or guardians. Unfortunately we are not always taught the best from our biggest influences. The best thing you can do is stay positive and learn as much as you can.

People will always feel that some aspect of them or their values is better than someone else's. And people are selfish or greedy by nature. Everybody is like this - no exception.

Everybody discriminates in some respect. Examples include:

- my race is better than yours
- my language is better than yours
- my god or religion is better than yours
- my society, or it's customs are better than yours
- I am more popular, have more friends, have a more attractive girlfriend, wife, boyfriend or husband than you
- I have more money, bigger house, nicer car, better clothes, or more material goods than you
- I am smarter than you
- I have more education than you
- I have better looks than you, or I am thinner, taller or have nicer eyes, hair than you
- I am better at sports, stronger, faster more athletic than you
- My dad/mom have a higher social status, career, or earn more money than you.
- I'm in a more powerful or political position than you
- I'm famous, you're not.

As long as we have these attitudes there will be discrimination and hatred. In other words we're competitive, selfish, and proud about some aspect of ourselves.

Everybody feels that they are better in some regards than other people.

one of the reasons now is that people lump muslims together with muslims who do not speak for the majority of muslims and kill in god's name the same happens in christianity and christians could be lumped together even if they do not kill in god's name also muslim is equated with skin colour most often not religion most see muslims as coming from the middle east or bent on financing terrorism they do not see the ordinary side the taxi cab drivers bus drivers buisnessmen, or buisness women, people going about everyday tasks, even visiting relatives if they do this in the u.s. they are looked upon with suspicion as if the only purpose they have is to blow things up. people most often do not imagine muslims doind ordinary things like celebrating birthdays relaxing and talking at night the idea they have of muslims is they all spring bushy bearded and fully armed into the world can you picture a baby in a crib with a bushy beard and an ak 47 clutched in one chubby fist ludicrous image you bet other kinds well it helps to lower language barrier if not lowered already also maybe history lesson and removing the word pendjeho boy from vocabulary might help
