Because they are amoral, and have no working sense of ethics. To them, anything is O.K. if it's not "illegal." They are pragmatic vermin worried only about themselves and what they consider to be their "needs." Bonds is disgusting, and so are his fans. Shame on all of them.

Yes, I support Barry Bonds. It's amazing how so many people are taking the word of other admitted steroid users (Raphael Palmero (who perjured himself) and others. The media is blasting Barry because he isn't very nice to them and won't give them interviews. Can you blame him?
If he is or was taking steroids for long period of time won't there be health related signs. And it only reported that his feet grew, what Real proof does anyone have.
The real question is, has Barry Bonds done what owners and all those who gain to benefit from this, put people in the seats. Face it people are watching regardless if you like him or not. So in the end the true winner is the Almighty $$$$!

Because people think greatest is all about stats not character. Barry Bonds is a good baseball player there is no doubt. But he has no character, neither does Sosa. I will not support any athlete that does drugs to enhance their performance, or cheats in other ways like Sammy Sosa. I hate Sammy Sosa more than Bonds. Sosa did steroids and corked his bat, I think for years look at this stats. Sosa only hit 14 home runs last year. Hmmmm - no Cork no Drugs. IN the last 3 years Bonds only hit 42 home runs. His total for the 3 years prior - 136. For those who say where is the proof he did steroids, "His Stats are Proof" Just like Sammy Sosa Stats are proof he has been corking his bat for years and using steroids.

Can you give an example where he cheated? I assume he took steriods . . . although I gained 50 lbs of muscle in 2 years during my 20s by lifting weights. But remember steriods were NOT against the rules until very recently.
McGwire did the same thing as did Sosa, and I am sure many others. Clemons seems way bigger than when he was a young guy. Where are the complaints there?
I am all in favor of testing, but it sure seems like people want to blame bonds and give others a free ride.

Some have tried to play the race card which is ludicrous!! I mean, Aaron is a black man and is highly regarded, so why would fans object to Bonds based on race?? They wouldn't. Some say he hasn't been "proven" guilty. Well, there is enough circumstantial evidence to support his guilt. So, what's the problem?? He's a cheater and a liar.
Chow!!

Because despite the mountain of circumstantial evidence, like a grown man's feet getting bigger (Size 10.5 when he became a Giant to 13 now) we still live in a country where one is innocent until proven guilty.
Even though if people remember, he admitted taking steroids even though he claimed that they were something else.

I could care less, bottom line is that your a fool if you do not think these guys were on steroids, it is fact and they have admitted it. Even Barry Bonds indirectly admitted it and I heard him, but what are you going to do? Just let him do it, so he will retire and baseball can go on. History will remember.

I am getting tired of seeing the uneducated and retarded place these types of questions here, where there should only be intelligent people reading and answering through this forum.
If you have solid proof that he used steroids, please share it with everyone here and also provide the test date, who administered the test, who witnessed the test and what drugs were present in his bloodstream to justify the positive test result.

i support him. i grew up a giants fan since 1989 and he is the best hitter of all team, period. which power hitters weren't taking steroids in the late 90's? for a few years, everyone was hitting 50-60 home runs. read jose canseco's book, "juiced".
