I was suspended last month. I was informed that I had 87 violations for "multiple postings of adult content". In my case, 87 was the magic number; however, there is no consistency of the rules, or the violations, or the explanations. I cannot believe I was allowed 87 violations in the first place. I finally made level 7, and 3 days later I was suspended. BTW, when Yahoo suspends your Answers account, they can delete your 360 page and your email accounts, also. Good luck to you.

relies upon on the severity. it truly is surely cumulative. i became suspended on the instant after the 1st violation in very nearly a 365 days. For solicitation, no much less. pass discern, i do no longer promote something yet blogs. the situation is, if the guy who comments you has a "sparkling" checklist of reporting, they do no longer even examine. It took a number of appeals and four months earlier I have been given a carry of a Yahoo! rep who took the time to work out that i became undemanding and truthful.

it depends on the level of violation... I've heard of some people who got like more than 10, but they're still here... probably because their offenses were "Not a Question or an Answer" type offenses.

That question has been asked hundreds of times, and no one really seems to know.
Suspensions seem to be random, much like people losing their Top Contributor badges.
