People go to this place by ferry from a nearby port city, one named for a famed explorer, and most of those visitors come to fish.

my guess is Santa Catalina..."26 miles across the sea,Santa Catalina is waiten for me"[1950's Oldie].A friend was sales manager for "Cushman" golf car company,and told me years ago that no cars were allowed and that the dealer on that island was his biggest customer in the world.
