Earth is 93 million miles from the sun. Jupiter is 483 million miles from the Sun. Therefore, Jupiters is 390 million miles away from Earth! Like the other person said, Ganymede orbits around Jupiter so there is no fixed distance from Earth.

Interesting facts: It is the largest moon in the solar system.
It has a diameter of 3,271 miles.
The moon has a magnetic field.
The moon displays tectonic activity.

There is no fixed distance. The moon orbits Jupiter and the earth and Jupiter are in totally different orbits. It varies by probably a hundred million miles or so.
