Kennedy:
Kennedy announced on the April 30 edition of Raw that he would be cashing in his Money in the Bank championship opportunity at WrestleMania 24. On the May 7 edition of Raw, Mr. Kennedy lost his Money in the Bank opportunity to Edge, losing the match only moments after being hit in the head with a monitor. Kennedy is currently sidelined from in-ring competition because of injury, when it was believed that his right triceps muscle tore right off the bone. However, shortly after, WWE.com reported that the injury is not as serious as once predicted, the triceps tendon did not tear off the bone but due to a massive hematoma, a collection of blood within a tissue or organ, he will still be out of action for 6-8 weeks from a medical standpoint.
Edge:
On the May 7, 2007 edition of RAW, Edge defeated Mr. Kennedy to win his Money in the Bank title opportunity, making him the first two-time Money in the Bank holder and the first person to win a Money in the Bank outside of WrestleMania. On the May 8, 2007 taping of SmackDown!, Edge cashed in his newly won Money in the Bank title opportunity. After a brutal Steel Cage match between The Undertaker and Batista, Edge defeated Undertaker with a spear to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time in his career. This is similar to how Edge won his first WWE Championship at New Year's Revolution 2006 when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated John Cena for the championship, after Cena had survived a brutal Elimination Chamber match. As a result of this victory, Edge is now part of the SmackDown! brand.

The reason that WWE had Edge beat Mr. Kennedy for the Money in the Bank Title Shot tonight on RAW was because Kennedy suffered a tricep tear over the weekend at the WWE show in Poughkeepsie, New York.
He will have surgery soon and be out somewhere between five and seven months.

Edge took the MITB from Kennedy and beat Undertaker on Smackdown tapings last night and became the new WHC because Taker is leaving so they are moving him to Smackdown!

taker is hurt and wont be bvack for the rest of the year so edge came over and won the belt. Kenedy is not hurt i just met him on saturday when he was in the mid hudson civic center.
