I totally agree with you, but I also think that every generation says that about their generations "youth". Think of what the parents in the '60's thought of the kids, and the '70's!
All you can do is to do the best job you can with your own kids, and try not to worry about everyone else's kids.
I think the problem is too many single moms and too many divorces and kids getting dragged around from one house to another, and being confused and hurt and thinking their parents don't love them and don't care.

Don't loose your faith over it. It has been getting worse and going this way since they have taken God out of the home and school, when you take away a parents rights to dicipline children when people are not following what God has for them, it is hell. It is alot more than annoying...but what do humans expect? The simple law of cause and effect shows you cannot expect good when bad prevails. You cant plant tomatoes and get corn it is that simple. But to be honest, it has been this way for centuries...I felt the same way when I was 16, but I watched my walk with God and it all worked out. You can pray for people but the Bible even says the last days would be caos and mayham....Prayer does work, and when people want help they will seek it. Until then they live in there own made hell. And with no guidance....they stray...which is one reason I sit here and try to answer as many voices for help as I can, If I can make a differance in one child it would be worth all the time to me. Some people do not have people to help them and dont feel worthy enought to ask for it. Look at the reasons behind the actions, behind the sins, you will find the biggest bullies are usually the most scared and hurt of all...hope this helps...but dont loose your faith over it...start intercessory prayer for the people you want to help...

Parents cater to their kids. They are afraid that if they actually DISCIPLINE them, they will get reported to CPS. They reward their kids (although I see it as a bribe) for being crappy just to keep the kids out of their hair.
This is how it plays out in my home. I have an eight-year old son.
1) If you have a bad day in school (behavior), expect to have a boring WEEK at home. That means no friends, no phone, no TV, and no video games. If you have a birthday party to attend that weekend, you can forget it.
2) You WILL say please, thank you, yes ma'am, yes sir, and will be appreciative for anything you get that is not a necessity.
3) You will eat what's put in front of you. I will not substitute what you have because it's not what you wanted.
4) You will work for your money. You will have chores on the weekend, and before you go out to play, those chores will be done. You are not paid allowance for cleaning your room. Your living quarters are expected to be clean.
5) You may not like church, but you will go as long as you're living under my roof. You will follow the rules of my home, and that's how it is until you can pay your own bills.
I think that making kids appreciate what they have is the first step in making them realize that the world doesn't cater to them.

OMG!!! I know what you mean! Me and my cousin feel your pain! There are kids at school that get Suspened and still get what they want! Or girls get pregnant but they still get cell phones, or a ipod, or a camera, or more EXPENSIVE clothes. Its also not fair that their parent have to make thier own bed for them, or wash their clothes and fold it. They also flunk and get what they want. We are the ones that try are hardest (I usaully get A's and mostly B's). I just can't wait till we get older and they are like "MOM! i need your help..." or "MOM! They just fired me!" or "MOM! how do you do this..." Ha they are not gonna make it through this tough world! lol! We are gonna be even smarter then them!!! Even though Im like an average student. Hey Im 15 turnin 16 in may 24!!! (I can't wait! lol) and me and my cuz understand you.
~â¥if you need some one to talk to Im here *Princess*â¥~

yea it its annoying but yea im only 18 and many things have changged,. i mean yea lil girls at 13 being sluts aint new but still kids nowa days get cell phones, laptops, cameras, and allowences....wheres the parents morals? there just handing the kids these things even with bad behavior and bad grades???whats the problem>? are the parents not showing enough disicpline? i think more parents need to teach there young ones a lil bout respect, honesty, and care. these kids are just out going nuts. they have no respect for nothing or no one, so even adults are affected ( i see it at skools, shopping centers, and more. kids getting away with disrespecting people for there own laugh.) thats not cool and kids need to be rasied a lil better i think@!

i agree! and i blame parents and the media. i think parents are too busy with their own lives to take the time to be parents- do you know how many women dont take the time to sit with their babies and connect with them? as if breastfeeding takes away from your own life! anyway- yes it is disgrace to think this is our future. too much violence in the media is an obvious problem, and some can't decern the difference between reality and fantasy. they dont realize the impact they have on others that shooting someone in real life will actually kill them. and we praise criminals telling their stories and finding reasons for their mental instability but what about the victims??? what is their story? who were they? more people know who charles manson is then the vice president! and this whole Emo no one understands me bull is just stupid! the problem is you dont understand yourself and you are looking to other lost peers for the answers they dont have. stop being a lemming!!! start thinking for yourself! start asking questions!!

I agree. I sure wasn't raised like them. It's pretty sad to what the world has come to. SOMEONE needs to take a stand and fix it.
