I just had a similar situation. The job had been closed for 11 days and I still had not heard either way. I was close to calling but wasn't sure how that would look. I decided to just hang tight and try to be patient. I finally received a call and I interview tomorrow. SO my advice is to be patient

Did you send a note thanking them for interviewing you? If so then you should wait until the 8th business day after the interview to call and inquire about the status of the position.

Yes, you can call. Uusally they tell you to wait a week.....but close enough. Just ask to speak to the manager, when they get on the phone, tell them your name and that you're inquiring on the status of your application.

of course you shoudl call, ask to speak to the manager and introduce yourself, let him know you applied 6 days ago and ur following up bc ur interested int he position, good luck!

It will be better if they call you, but if not, its time to call them, just to remind them.
