when you first start your computer, see if there is a way to run restore, or if you have restore discs, put the operating system disc in and reboot. be advised, you will loose all of your data such as photos and music, so back them up to a disc or external hard drive first

Hi. There are two things that need to be done. Reset the BIOS to factory default (in case you made changes) and format your hard drive if you plan to use it. Data, even after a format, can still be recovered by someone who knows how. Remember this if you plan to give the machine away or sell it.

with your restore cd or restore option on your computer start it up and look on the screen at the bottom for the options
