1. it is the rebelian against britan for our nations freedom it started at the battle of lexington in 1775

2. gave america independance in trade and political powers

3. It gave a sense of nationalism as appose to sectionalism.

5. It will always be in existence because it represents how the USA fought for what they believed in and won, despite the obstacles they faced. They were farmers agains a well organized british army/navy and yet they still managed to fight for their homeland and freedom

Questions 1-4 are either utterly and stupidly obvious, or require extensive reading to understand the answers.

Question 5 makes no sense. The American Revolution ended a couple hundred years ago, so how could it still be in existance in the future???

1 - The 13 colonies, beginning in 1775, wage war to free themselves from Britian's colonial domination.
2 - The effect is that it created a new country, the USA, which has expanded into the dominant country in the world today.
3 - Because the USA was no longer a colony of Britain it was allowed to experiement with representative democracy and it's proven very positive and useful for the country.
4 - Has it been useful? Compare the USA to other countries, some of which have long and extensive histories. The USA has been able to expand, develop and lead the world in economics and social influences.
