I am a fairly modest person. I am a little bit overweight, but not too bad. I have issues with being naked in front of a massage person. What is wrong with me? Does everyone feel this way?
How can I get past this issue?
I have been having back pain and joint pain after working my rear end off for the last 10 yrs. I just think maybe I should have a massage to see if that helps and how much should I expect to pay?

If you are seeing a professional, you will not be naked at all. They will cover you with a sheet, and only uncover the part they are massaging. You will pay 50-100$ an hour depending on what area you live in. Tips are acceptable.

a massage will help a lot. If you are truly after a massage and not jsut the happy ending you will enjoy it. Do not worry about being naked, you usually have a towel on anyways. If you are nervous about being in front of a man get a woman(or vice versa). i get massages from both. Guys are great for deep tissue and popping and aligning your back. Women are great for light massages but I find they cannot kneed the muscles as well. You will always be nervous your first time, but remember this is a proffesional and you do not have to go back there. Maybe have a drink or two before going to loosen yourself up. Good Luck. and enjoy. they rock

I'm sure they have seen it all. And any way you only strip as far as you're comfortable with anyway. I believe, unless it's an erotic massage, they don't go in the groin area. The waist and up and the thigh and below.

If all fails, purchase one of those made by Homemedics.

The prices range from a simple $25 for 1/2 hour to $100 for 1/2 hour.

to increase hand grip, I use the gyro-ball.

ive only gotten a professional massage once and i loved it. i too am a bit modest but they make it very comfortable for you. they leave the room and let you get undressed and you dont have to be completely nude, i only took off my top and bra because it was only my upper body they gave me the option to loosen my pants thought and i did. then i had a towel to cover myself. they play relaxing music, sometimes sound of like rain of the forrest, and theres aromatic oils and candels burning, i loved it! all you have to remember is these people are here to do their job and that is all they are worried about. so dont be nervous and spoil yourself! how much? it all depends where you go. just shop around first.. and i hear acupuncture is good too.. but ive never done that..
