How can I get sound to play on an old DOS game I downloaded?

I downloaded mario is missing from an abandonware site....is there no way to get sound?

Try downloading DOSBox and playing the game through that. It is a very good DOS emulator.

I agree with Yoi_55. And if you're using a DOSShell on DOSBox you can make profile runners on many other dos games.
