The only thing that is bad in tea is the caffeine.... I drink Lipton Cold Brew... It only has 15mg of caffeine per serving... so like almost none compared with other teas.... It is pretty good. I was drinking like 3 glasses a day for a while there.... If you are drinking regular tea though I would try to limit it to 2 glasses a day... Oh and the cold brew is nice because it only takes a few minutes and you can make it right in your glass! Congrats!

Ask your doctor to be sure, but it should be fine. My doctor allows me one caffeine drink per day. Coffee, tea or soda. However, I am in my third trimester and I don't believe they want you to have much caffeine when you are in your first so I would ask just to be sure. Also, I've heard to stay away from green tea. There's some kind of chemical in it that can make you start having contractions. There's something else you should ask your doctor about. It's probably okay, but I'd call and ask just to be sure.

It probably has some caffiene, so just watch your caffeiene comsumption. 400mg a day and over is known to cause defects such as respiratory difficulties, but I doubt one glass of tea (or even two) will have that much, since one Coke is only 65mg. Just watch your mixing...you shouldn't have coffee and coke and tea all in a day, because they all contain caffeine. Or better yet, go for a decaf version and you won't have to worry at all!

There are 2 things to be careful of:
1. It has caffeine - so limit 1 per day.
2. If it has aspartame/nutrasweet, etc., don't drink it.

Tea has more caffeine then coffee and caffeine's not good for the baby. Decaffeinated would be fine.
