wouldn't it be nice to have movies or other good shows on, besides reality or game shows

There is no originality anymore. When someone comes up with idea that is even remotely popular then everyone jumps on it and floods the market with copycat versions. It started with reality shows after Survivor but most recently it has been game shows, most noteably Deal or No Deal.
Same with movies, they stopped trying to come up with new ideas and have resorted to remaking old movies that did well in the past.

My first objection is that there is nothing "real" about reality shows. Anytime people know there is a camera pointed at them, there is a difference in behavior and attitudes. The only one I've seen that comes close to being "real" is Wedding Crashers because the bridge and groom know, but the guests don't. So they really are surprised at the end. Other than that, most of the shows (99%) are a piece of garbage.

People and their 15 minutes of fame is getting rather depressing because of what some of them will do to get themselves noticed. I agree with you about wanting to see some well-acted shows or movies made with people who know what they are doing . The 'reality faze' should go away because all of them are getting to look the same.

i like the game shows but i am tired of reality shows cause they seem so fake! we need something familys could watch together, or a show that your kids could watch alone and you wouldnt have to worry.good shows like the cosby show was or all in the family or little house on the prairie.they were awesome! thats what we need.

I've never been able to watch any of them. I used to try for an episode or two, hoping that THIS time, it'll be entertaining, but they never fail to disappoint. They're so fake. "Reality"? The people on them are so clearly after fame and fortune, and unfortunately, they're getting it.
Anything is better than reality TV.
