I want to open an account with Ebay, but need to know if i should get an account/credit card for that only or accept the Penpal method of payment. Is Penpal safer for me?

The credit department at Ebay is called PayPal. You will need a credit card and will have to use it to open a PayPal account if you want to buy anything on Ebay.

Paypal is safe for most people. There are always scammers who can outsmart any system including cash and credit cards.
Paypal is integrated with Ebay, so it makes buying and selling much easier.
They do take about 3 % of any transaction, but that is similar to a credit card merchant fee.

Pay pal is safe. But if you don't want to use a real credit card then use a Master Card prepaid gift card or any other major credit card brand. They work about the same as a credit card.

I believe Pay Pal even refunds if your account is stolen.

I think you mean paypal. If not I'm sorry. Paypal is a safe method of sending and receiving money. I have a eBay account and its worked very nicely for me, you can receive or send money instantly and it doesn't expose your financial information. If you wish to withdraw your money form paypal it takes about 2 weeks for it to proses through the bank you set up your account with. I hope this help you.
