Move it back to the old location and see if it goes back to normal. Otherwise I'm going to bet you damaged it somehow when you moved it. You said you checked the wires, but you might try replacing the cable entirely.
You need to say what kind of computer "screen" this is. Is it a CRT monitor, LCD, or what? I'm assuming you have a broken CRT, whose red and blue electron guns are broken or out of alignment. This causes the green to "take over" and you still see an image, but it's not in color, it's in "greenscale". If that's what you are seeing, then there is a way to fix it, but it's technical, dangerous, and doesn't always work. You are better off getting a new monitor.
Yes, places will try to rip you off, but sometimes it seems like they are overcharging when they are not. Example: fuel line story posted above. No reputable shop will touch fuel lines without doing it right. This is not simply because they want more money. This is because they want to avoid being sued by the EPA, and it's not worth it to cut corners just to save you a little money. They don't care about you... they have a business to run and they need to follow the law. So while it may seem like they are ripping you off, trying to charge for work you don't need, what they are really doing is covering their butts. Fuel lines can't be patched, by law they must be replaced. And if you have a bad joint between two lines, then the coupler, and BOTH lines and the couplers on the other ends of those lines, have to be replaced. Any deviation from that is considered an environmental hazard.
Mechanics will not take the time to explain that to you unless you ask, and if you get all huffy and belligerent then they are going to hand you a line of BS, and may try to rip you off (and you would deserve it too). Mechanics are the authority on cars, and they don't like being told otherwise. If you even suggest that you think what they are telling you is wrong, then they won't want to be honest with you any more. You have to get on their level... ask and discuss, don't tell.

I see an answer for some blank squad. Those computer repair people and many companies will take people for a ride. I'm not sure about your question, but a lot of repair services are in business to make a lot of money. I know it's off the topic but, my car has a small gasoline leak when I fill up the tank really full. About 15 different places want to charge me up to almost $750 for fixing it. When I had my muffler fixed recently, I saw it was a hose clamp spewing out gas. A new clamp might cost $1. But, noone will fix it, try to tell me I need all new gas lines, a new gas tank, etc. Beware that many repair people want money, and they don't necessarily give you the services you actually NEED.

Try another cable and see if that helps - it could be that the cable is going bad. If you have a spare monitor, try to connect it to your computer. If the screen is still greenish then the problem is most likely with your video card. Otherwise it may be that your monitor is going bad and needs to be replaced.

Loose connection, remove the cable, check the plugs at each end for bend pins, in none, plug it back in firmly and lock it down,
