Will an 11 year old boy like a remote control car?

I am trying to think of a birthdays present, but can't spend too much. Is this a good idea or do you have any others.

Yep, classic good choice when you don't know the kid good enough to get him specificaly what he wants..... so good thinking! Maybe also make sure to ask the kiddos parents about it, they'd know more about the details and weather or not its a good or bad idea, not us! Bad idea were all crazy out here in cyberspace!

Why no a good book that helps him to grew; a remote car makes no intelligent challenge for him; if you love him just give him a Chess Set
