I just bought Saw 2 and 3 From ebay and am looking to buy the collection but don't have the original yet. My g/f is coming over to watch a movie and thought Saw 2 and 3 would be good do you think she'd understand what's going on in Saw 2 and 3 without watching the first? I know the first is the best but I haven't gotten it yet, I personally saw Saw 2 first then Saw 1 then Saw 3 buuuut I'm not sure if anyone would understand it or not. I understood it fine but what's your opinion? (I pick up on movies rather quickly and I heard alot about Saw1 before watching Saw 2 so that might be why too) Or we could just watch something else like Hostel or Hills Have Eyes. What do you guys(And girls) think?

I think movies should be seen in order, I however viewed the movie Saw II before Saw, it didnt matter, it only helped to know who some of the characters were. some of the dead bodies that were decomposeing in the bathroom were alive in the 1st movie. other than that the story in part II can hold its own.. I actually liked II better than I, havent seen part III yet.. I hope its good too..

She should see the 1st one b/c its the most shocking one, so its the best. But she doesn't HAVE to. Just ask her if she wants to, but let her know that the first in IS the best.

I think you would want to see the first one. The seocnd one builds alot on the first.
