I will be in town from Sat night until noon on Monday and was wanting to know what might be fun to do, concerts, sports, clubs, events, anything fun?

Our local free weekly paper, Westword, has the best schedule of entertainment. They may not have the complete listings until the week before, though. Just click on the Calendar date (center right column) that you want to see all the events going on.

There are a lot of things to do, but I will tell you about a couple of the things that I am doing. There is a huge soccer tournament in the new soccer venue where the Rapids play starting on Friday and ending on Memorial Day. Also on Memorial Day is the Bolder Boulder which is one of the largest 10K (or any distance) races in the world.

Ditto on the Bolder Boulder if you are at all athletically inclined. Its only 6 miles and there are tons of walkers, walk/joggers, slow joggers, fast joggers, etc so most people can do it. Even if you dont participate, afterwards everyones gathers in the University of Colorado football stadium and they have a patriotic ceremony with parachuters, jets flying over head, etc. Its pretty cool. The stadium is packed, its fun and anyone is welcome to be there. If you are interested in more info on the BB just email me. It is definetly THE Colorado Memorial Day event.
