Well if you like Role playing games(RPG) i would go for Oblivion, But if you like war and just shooting everthing comeing your way go for gears, Ive played them Both and they are both good games. Oblivion Takes Quit some time to beat, Ive played it for 87 hours and arnt even close, But Gears dont take to long but its Awsome too. If i where you i would just break down and Buy both. Up to you!

I would have to go with Gears of War. I played oblivion pretty hard core for a while, but after hitting level 13 I just got sick of it. Having to constantly monitor my skill progression to make my character powerful was just too much of a chore. Overall I would consider gears a better game because of the co-op mode.

id go with gears of war, great game. If ur into rpg's then oblivion.

depends on what you're into, I like oblivion more cause i'm an rpg kinda guy. that doesn't mean i don't like gears of war.

stable interest going with the 360 evry one sais it sucks, i luve it, the proper video games i've got been given have been elder scrolls 4:oblivion,proper action rpg interior the international ineffective turning out to be ask your self proper

i would say gears because it is a really good game and the replay value is amazing plus their are new maps and new weapons coming out soon
