If there really was in invisible man, would he leave fingerprints. In films etc, if he walked on snow you would see footprints, but would he leave fingerprints at a scene etc.

yes, he would leave fingerprints and we will be able to see his footprints on the snow. even if he's invisible and we cant see him through our naked eyes, it does not mean he can live like he doesnt exist. because he is still a man, and a man has fingerprints and footprints. just because he's invisible it does not mean he disappeared from the surface of the earth. he's still there. and he's a human so there should be some marks left to prove his existance.

If it were in real life invisible, yes he would leave footprints and fingerprints.

But in film, their point is to make him INVISIBLE, therefore not even showing footprints or fingerprints.

yes, he would. he wouldnt cast a shadow, as the whole point is that he bends light around him. he wouldnt show up in a mirror, but it would be VERY interesting to see what would turn up. also, other light dependant things...

if he cast a "shadow" over a light dependant resistor, would it cease working as it would if a normal person stood over it.

what would happen if u took a picture? most likely youd see an outline, but nothing else. interesting question... ill think about that some more.

even though his bodily fluids are invisible, he would still leave fingerprints, as the fingerprints wouldve left his aura if u were at a crime scene

He's only invisible, not a ghost, therefore he'd leave fingerprints the same as he leaves footprints.

I think that he would leave footprints First of all no one can see him but he's still there. It's like air. If you have a pile of sand and blow along it with a staw it will leave a line. You can't see it but it is there. As for fingerprints he will have a DNA structure and he will be, by rights, a physical touchable person.

Ok I am thinking, hmm ... my immeadiate reaction was yes and I can't think of any reason why being invisible would change that. Finger prints are caused by grease on your skin when making contact with an object.

Oh I see you're saying he would wipe the marks away and being invisible he would have more time to be through.

Though it is not possible to be invisible, if it were, he would leave prints & fingerprint dust would reveal them in the normal manner. This however would not help you to see him. However anything adhering to or passing over his skin would cause it to show up. He would also be highly visible on thermal imaging cameras.

I would think so. The ability to be invisible wouldn't mean he was non-existent, only that he has aquired an ability to refract or bend light in such a way as to render himslef un-seeable. He would still have fingerprints, because he would still have fingers.
