LOL... Why would you think that "BLACK FOLK" would know the answer to this question. We don't know. I've always wondered that myself though. My guess is that they use a specific template for their magazine. Everything is pretty much always on the same page it was before. Not just the beauty of the week.

Maybe because there are 86 pages in the JET magazine and that would be right in the middle. Who knows? More importantly........why do you care. I thought the picture would be more important than the page it is on.

Don't know...I think this may be a question for those who produce and publish the magazine. African Americans would prefer not to be called "Black Folk"
