He is like 2" long and he would live in a 100 gallon pond with filter and Lilly pads and some small comets and some large gold fish and koi.

Probably not a good idea. Depending on where you live, cory's are tropical fish and need to be in water that's consistently warm. That means 72-85 degrees or so. In most parts of the country there are nights in the summer when the water temps could drop well below that. Tropical fish aren't used to dealing with those sorts of temperature fluctuations, it will stress the fish, causing him to be more apt to disease and eventually it will die.
If, where you live, it is tropical, like south Florida, you could probably get away with it for a while.

You can put him in the pond, however I have to agree here with everyone else, It would be a difficult task to get him out before the winter sets in. However, if you don't live in a climate where there is cold weather, go for it.

I wouldn't if I were you. You would have a terrible time getting him back out before cold weather. Assuming he didn't die or get eaten by something first.

I wouldn't.

The goldfish would try to eat him, and goldfish are very dirty.

So the Cory wouldn't like it.
