I like that the goverment denys their existance. It keeps people like me safe. Imagine if they come out and said aliens are real..theres just too many nutters in the world who would feel threatened by this news. you know the kind, they're the ones preaching the word of god to the sinners, while dousing them in gasoline. They were the one's in 1600 burning innocent people for witchcraft. They were the spanish inquisition. I don't need to tell you what they would be like if we threatened their beliefs.
Aliens are real and you have the crumbling of all religious institutions. There'd be anarchy and mass panic. **** that. I'll stick to being lied to for the time being...untill a day when we reach a point where we can handle the news.
P.S. UFO's are real. the question is whether some of them are extraterrestrial in origin, and I think it's a big YES!

1. UFO's are not alien spacecraft. They COULD be...but they could be other things as well (hence the term "unidentified flying objects"). If it was an identified flying object (that looked like the ship you are talking about)...then you would be certain it was a spacecraft from outer space.
2. I believe that some UFO's are alien visitors from outer space (or from another dimension...)...but there really isn't any concrete proof they exist at all. Funny you should mention sending radio waves into space....I think that is a waste of time. Why on EARTH do we assume all life forms have to be carbon/water based?? Why should we broadcast on the "water" band, assuming they would be able to listen in?? Carrier waves do travel the speed of light...but what's to say they listen on the same frequency?? or wave length, for that matter?? We should find other means of contacting ETI...instead of wasting billions on systems that really are returning nothing but static from other stars, nebula, supernova...etc....(hope that I am wrong...but we haven't found a signal yet!)
Sorry to answer your question with a question...but we humans don't fully understand how to communicate with ETI beings because we really never run across from them yet..
Or have we????????????????? hmmmmmmmmmmm......

Because most of the people who see the films and photos don't realize that none of them present the kind of evidence serious scientists would depend on for their research strategies. You may find a lot of people who believe in ET UFO's but most serious students of science are generally not impressed by the evidence presented in the popular media. My guess is that at least 90% of the people on this planet seriously believe in at least one thing that simply doesn't exist.
The EM spectrum is common throughout the universe. Any advanced technology would have learned how to use it. Even if they found some better way to communicate that we don't know about and can't detect, there would still be remnants of their old radio messages travelling through the galaxy.
If any craft capable of coming across interstellar space was buzzing around here and wanted to communicate, don't you think they would use radio, (instead of squashing crops, say)? I mean this planet radiates a huge amount of man-made radio waves. But have we heard anything responding to it? Nada. Nope. Not a single string of intelligent data in the entire time we've been listening.
For every civilization that would have sent a craft here, there would have to be probably hundreds of others which didn't, but which, like us, have made a lot of radio noise. Again: nothing. So it is highly unlikely that ETs are flying around here trying to contact us. They could have done it many years ago, across many light years, at the speed of light, and much MUCH cheaper than flying across interstellar space. Keep in mind, any species that has made it here across space IS more advanced than we are. They would have no trouble contacting us in ways we can detect.
We've only been a radio technology for about a century, though, so let's give it some time. Any scientist would tell you that the best bet is to look for electromagnetic transmissions of intelligent origin.

Most of us believe there are UFO's because we've seen some legitimate footage.. They obviously want to contact with us
Well, they didn't come from Earth, so to get across the galaxy to our atmosphere is quite impressive, what prevents them from going that last inch, landing, and actually contacting us?

The only way to convince you bout this subject, is to go out into the wilderness, and talk to god, and ask him to show you what its all about. I think only certain people are gifted with such insight, and if you hold that kind of occupation with the defense dept. it won't do no good, unless your born with it. And plus, it would've been recorded by now, every aspect. But you got to consider some people don't believe in it, but just want to be the stars fans, or others just trying to get attention. But if they were real...I'd say we'd be in alot of trouble within the next decade or so, depending on the situation.

If not into space, then where would you suggest we send our benevolent radio waves?
If they "obviously want to contact with us" then why travel light years, perhaps millions of light years to come within a few hundred feet and turn back?
These questions may help to get you on the right track.

You are suffering from a common misconception. UFO's are Unidentified Flying Objects. Anytime you see something in the sky that you don't recognize, you are seeing a UFO. Everyone has seen such things. You apparently think that "UFO" means "alien spaceship". It does not! UFO's typically are lights in the night sky. If you ever see an alien spaceship, it will not be a "UFO". It will be an "Identified Flying Object".
